This was a 2-D design project I had to do. It was supposed to be an example of decorative space, like separation of parts of the work. I decided to look at a bunch of the old soviet propaganda posters and take my inspiration from that. I had it printed at a local print shop and mounted. It's 18" x 24" and pretty communist. I'm not really a communist or anything, which is what people seem to assume after seeing this. I just simply have a thing for all the old World War II era propaganda posters.

Thats really amazing!
I really love the Soviet posters and it looks pretty realistic to me, plus....whats wrong with communists?
I mean i'm not one but I dont think theres anything wrong with them...they just have different ideas on how the government should be run.

What do the words say and is that Lenin in lower left corner. I'm asking as a history minor because I know Stalin fabricated alot of pictures with him and Lenin together for propoganda purposes.

All in all a nice piece of art work. Bet this was ppopular during WWII

You've certainly achieved that classic look, but I feel a great contemporary twist from the alphas and colors, making for a great piece. Great work.
